Estimate Made Easy

iQuest allows both top-down and bottom-up job estimates. Assembly and sub-assembly items can be further connected with work orders to simplify job management.

 

Job MRP

The “buy-for-job” is a powerful feature that scans the material estimates and the associated work orders to create RFQ or P.O. for the job. It allows you to keep zero inventory, match the purchase cost to the job, and ensure of using the right material for the right job.

 

Labor Cost Tracking

Labor hours can be entered by job number or by employee time sheet. Unscheduled service can be entered along with assigned tasks.

 

Actual vs. Estimate

At any stage of the project, you can compare the actual vs. estimated costs. iQuest helps you pinpoint the difference, whether it is due to unit cost difference, usage variance, project changes, or other reasons.

 

Milestone Billing

Project billing can be tied to, or independent of, completion milestones. You can choose billing description and amount from actual job details, or select any verbiage and amount that suit your purpose (e.g. installment billing).

 

Job Change Management

iQuest monitors project changes after the approval, so you can analyze the variances easily.

 

Outside Costs

You can also charge outside costs to the job. Enter the expenses to A/P, and iQuest will post these charges to the job.
